The Be Smart for Kids Campaign was launched in 2015 to promote responsible gun ownership in order to reduce child gun deaths. This education campaign has been adopted by the Peace and Justice Committee of the Diocese of West Missouri in an effort to address the gun violence in our communities in a non-partisan common sense way. 

Gun violence is the leading cause of death for children and youth in the state of Missouri.
